NEVER,NEVER,NEVER buy from MAKRO. NEVER.

I have written before about their Capegate Branch refusing to honor a warranty on a kettle, and how their staff member libelled me. I have called the Makro Call Centre, who PRETEND to take the complaint seriously, but after 2 months they have NOT contacted me, and in several calls from ME to THEM they keep saying the same thing: We will escalate it. After that they think it will go away. I have threatened with lawyers, with police charges, etc, all to no avail. Makro simply is not interested in their clients. Once you pay for an item, they wish you disappear for good. I recommend that NO person EVER buys anything from this company that does not honour warrantys and does not respect their clients.

The Capegate branch has the arrogance to tell me to pay for the repair (no damage to goods, electronic failure), and they tell me that they do not care if I have a case number at headoffice, they are not prepared to contact headoffice to see what is happening.

Utterly unprofessional contact, complete disservice to the peasants that think they are clients.
