---> Avoid Makro online! Rather buy from Takealot or Amazon. Makro is useless with customer service and will frustrate you. Their stores are fine, but online - absolutely shocking.

I would like to voice my frustration and disgust with the absolute and utter uselessness of the Makro SA online team. I ordered 2 Amazon Kindles and they only sent me 1. I logged a return on 7 March. It's simple, they should collect the 1 Kindle and send me 2 (or at least just send the missing one?).

7 phone calls to their call centre later, numerous emails, twice escalated - still no outcome. No communication, useless call centre agents. The experience has been an absolute disaster.

Please do yourselves a favour and avoid shopping online with Makro - rather support the likes of Takealot and Amazon, companies that understand customer service
