NEVER BUY AN ACER NOTEBOOK/LAPTOP

Recommended an Acer to my niece for school. She bought it from Makro and within 3 months the left hinge gave up. It was taken back to Makro and it was stated that they don't accept physical damaged products. It was then taken to Partserve to fix under warranty with Acer. However, was told Acer South Africa doesn't cover physical damage. The notebook sat on a table and was moved twice within 3 months and never left the home as she is home schooled.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND AN ACER PRODUCT TO ANYONE. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY A QUALITY NOTEBOOK OR BUY A GOOD SECONDHAND PRODUCT WHICH WOULD BE BETTER QUALITY.
