Misrepresentation of a product

On Wednesday I bought a Samsung 32 inch TV which was marked down from R2799 to R1599. When I got to my place, I opened the box only to find that they is no cables inside the box and it's only the remote. Yesterday I returned the TV hoping that the will replace the missing cables or give me another TV that is complete. I was told that I can't read, they was a note stating all the things the TV was missing. According to me,firstly they was no note and they can check the cameras. Secondly they was guy who checked my TV license status, but failed to explain to me why TV was on marked down. They would rather return my money then rectify their mistake. I really think it's not fair and it's a misrepresentation. Makro it's a very reputable company to be conducting their business in such manner.
