Misleading Promotions for online customers

There was an online special Makro recently had on a Christmas tree. When I tried to purchase two of the promotional trees, the system only allowed me to check out with one late Saturday night. I went ahead and completed the purchase for the single unit.

The following day, I returned to purchase the second tree, but I noticed that the promotional price had increased by R700, and the special was no longer available.

Since the system prevented me from purchasing both items during the promotion, I kindly requested Makros assistance in allowing me to purchase the second tree at the original promotional price and was declined by Makro yet they had a system glitch.

Really wont shop at Makro again because this is misleading!!!

I am in utter shock and disgust that Makro will mislead customers. The Christmas tree arrived today and it was suppose to be an Evergreen Christmas tree (the brand) instead it is a cheap China town tree that waa delivere to me. I went into a Makro store had a look at the Evergree Chriatmas tree as well as the white box which says Evergreen that it is packaged in and I have pictures of it. The same item is listed online on a promo, hence the reason why I bought it based on the picture and descriptio but the Christmas Tree that was delivered to me is in a brown thin box with Chinese writing and of cheap quality. Utterly disgusted that a big enterprise such as Makro would do this!!!! Sell counterfeit items on their Online portal!!!

An apology doesn't help me much I need you to deliver what I paid for an that is an Evergreen christmas tree. Kindly advise how I would be receiving this tree as you have falsely advertised this and sent me a counterfeit.

I am not willing to pay the full price of R1600 when the item was on a promotion gor R999and I was sent a counterfeit. So how do I order the exact Christmas tree thats advertised now for R1600 and make payment of only R999 and receive an Evergreen Christmas tree and not a **** counterfeit Christmas tree? I have been probably asking this question for 4 times now and haven't received a peoper answer or resolution to this issue???
