Misleading Customers on Promotions - No Stock!

Makro is currently running a promotion on Gillette Mach 3 blades (1x20's) for the amount of R450 which is a saving of R346.95. Promotion ends on 30.09.2022. Since the promotion had started no stock was available in any of the branches in Pretoria area. I have been phoning all the branches and also browsing their website on a daily basis to no avail. When speaking to them in person they all have the same response of "sorry no stock".

I also contacted the Makro Head office on 23.09.2022 and spoke to a lady called Samantha. Samantha said she will investigate and report back to me. I again called Samantha this morning 27.09.2022 and she then said that she will contact the supplier. I just received a call back from Samantha where she claimed that there is no available stock and also confirmation from the supplier that stock will only be available next month at the normal price, how convenient!!

Makro does not provide a "Rain Check". A lady at Wonderboom made it clear to me that they are not Checkers.

I think this is total BS and that Makro is deceiving the public with promotions they do not have.
