After calling their call centre to close the account in September, I was told that there is a credit on my account and that I should send a copy of my ID and bank account details advising that I want my account closed. I then got a reply in October, telling me that I don't have a credi. I called again and the agent told me that it will take 36 days to close my account!!! This was very concerning as apparently the account bears interest every day. I asked her what about the interest and she told me not to.worry, she will follow up. Suddenly I get a statement, telling me that I owe Makro!!! What a ***** over!!! How can you take 36 days to close an account that bears interest every day? That means I will NEVER IN MY LIFE be done with them?
