Maybe something to look into.
More an observation than a complaint.
I have never had a problem with makro before. But was disappointed today. My 85 year old mother went to go buy a large item today. I went with her so that i could gelp her transport it home.
The item was divered to us in the shop on a trolley. When I asked about assistance to put the item in the bakkie I was told that they do not offer such assistance. That I can ask car guard to assist to put the in the bakkie.. Natrally at my own risk.
I find it very odd. And that the attitude was that I have paid for the item and it is now my problem.
I asked if the do not have the facity that I drive to the loading zone and it can be put in the vehicle there ( like some of the other stores have) But, no, they do not ha e that service anymore either.
I think this is a matter that should be looked into. If a store is selling big items like fridges and stoves. It would mean a lot to the customer to ha e some assistance in loafing the item.
