Maybe Online Deliveries Are Not For You.

Order MAK***, purchased online on 3rd of April 2023. Today it's the 14th, discounting the 2 public holidays and adding the weekends as WumDrop delivers over the weekend, my order has not yet been delivered. Order was divided into 3 parts, One part was by an external provider who arranged with courier guy and had my order delivered timeously. WumDrop however had the other 2 parts of the order and the 1 part their delivered within 2 days and the other part was not delivered on the scheduled date which was Thursday 6 April. Driver alerted me via sms that he is on his way at 4:49pm, then at 4:50pm he sent another sms saying that there has been an error with the delivery as they had the wrong address. Question is how when you have already delivered the other order. I called Driver to ask where he was thinking he might be in the area, at 4:59pm the driver 16kms away on his way to Crown Mines to drop off my delivery. Driver promised to come on Saturday and made me wait, he never came. Received an email from WumDrop Monday night saying they are trying to call me but cannot reach me, responded Tuesday morning, for the 3rd time I am sending them my phone number, wife’s phone number, residential address, today Friday still no response. Called Makro the following Tuesday, was promised an escalation and an email. Could not contact WumDrop. Nothing came up Today is a Friday, called Makro who escalated once again. Still no email or any for of feedback. Contacted WumDrop who advised they can’t find where the order was out by the drivers. As promised by WumDrop agent, she went and looked for it and called me back and advised that she has found it but there is no drivers as it is already midday so she has arranged for tomorrow Saturday. Fingers crossed my order will arrive on the 15th of April.
