Marko Online is more than a ****

Worst worst worst service possible. Ordered online (MAK***). Delivery date came and passed. No item received after a week from the last delivery date option. Called to follow up, reply was that they are out of stock on this particular item and will possibly only have stock in a months time (Why advertise the item then..). Tried to cancel the order (ref nr ***) and was told it is being escalated and confirmation email regarding cancelation will be sent. Next day came, receive email stating package (MML557053 with delivery pin) is handed over to courier and is being delivered. Called again to enforce the cancelation and again was told it is being escalated and will take 48 - something hours to reflect.

Two days later, receive notice that package has been delivered.. to who and how, since we have been trying for more than a week to cancel the package and get a confirmation email from Makro Online regarding the refund. We didn't sign that a package was delivered either and asked at the security gate of the complex if there was any sign of a delivery vehicle, for which the answer was no. Phoned again (ref nr ***), again being told it will be escalated and we have to wait since the lady I am speaking to can't really do much more and that a refund will take between 7 and 14 weeks.. (that was the answer..).. again no confirmation emails as promised, no communication regarding cancelation or anything. Phoned again and asked if one can come speak to someone at a Makro or an office and was told Makro Online does not see people in person.. Every time you phone a new person answers whos name one can't hear over the phone. Best part, it wasn't just the odd R1000 or so purchase.. Well I hope this review might escalate the situation to confirm the cancelation and start the process of a refund for the purchase or just some kind of positive communication from Makro, if not, I hope it helps to inform people not to buy on Marko Online.
