Makrosure Extended Warranty Service-Poor

We purchased a 900mm Defy gas stove and electric oven in 2021from Makro. Since then, we have logged 5 repair calls due to various faults with the electrics. The main fault being the timer switch has been repaired before and continues to emit a burning wire smell. The Makro Sure (Massmart Financial Service-MFS) electrician say that the timer is a common fault. We have been unable to use the oven since 17 Dec-2024 as we wait for MFS to approve the repair report/quotation. We can't keep having the parts replaced without the root cause being addressed. An electric fault in the presence of gas is a huge health and safety risk!!!
