Makro...a ******** store!

I would like to express my utmost dissatisfaction and disgust towards Makro about the horrible online shopping experience I had with them recently... I purchased VR headsets from Makro on the 19th of August for my son's school event that was to be held on the 30th August, Upon purchase,I was promised that my order would be delivered on the 23rd August,I was happy with that,still had enough time before the event,I made an online payment of R249(item price) plus the delivery fee of R50,which totalled R299 I waited for the 23rd August...to my disgust,on the morning of the 22nd, boom! an email from a Sihle Nkosi(Makro Care).. telling me they're cancelling my order because they have a problem with their supplier...Fine, I thought to myself. .these things happen..they don't have control over this one...

He goes on to tell me that they've already processed my refund and I'd receive my money within 3-5 working days!!! WOW!..now I'm thinking I need to buy the headsets...my son's event is fast approaching..and mind you...I don't have any more money..I'm depending on this refund to purchase elsewhere! I respond to Sihle asking if they could please hurry the process up because I really need this money ...NO RESPONSE from our guy!....Makro suddenly went dumb on me!

Finally on the 1st of SEPTEMBER I decided to drive to Makro Strbensvalley to find out why the won't give me my money back when clearly they failed to deliver on their promise

When I got to the store,the nice lady there checked for me and according to her .NO REFUND WAS PROCESSED!!..I was gonna wait till Jesus came back! This lady took my details and promised they would get back to me...Monday 2nd Sept went by,Makro still not saying anything to me...TODAY 3rd September....12DAYS of waiting for my money..I get an SMS from Makro saying I should expect my money within 5-10 DAYS!......I just can't believe that such a huge chain store swindles people out of their hard earned money with such underhanded tactics!.. Y'all are disgusting!...and I hope to never ever interact with y'all!
