Makro Wonderboom TV Department

I bought a TCL 65" QD Mini LED Google TV at Makro Wonderboom yesterday for R9,999. The first TV they wanted to give me was not even switching on then they came with another one. It was briefly tested to see if its switching on after which I agreed everything was fine because I was in a hurry. When I get home setting up the TV when it comes to language selection then the panel showed internal damage with some green lines on the right side and top. I returned this TV this morning to try and get a replacement the store personnel is blaming me for the damage. The General Sales Manager called SHonald Somo said there is nothing he can do and I left them the TV. So now I have lost my 10K and I have no TV in my house.

Makro Wonderboom has footage showing the TV being briefly switched on and that I was busy on my phone with a driver who was waiting outside to help with transport so I did not conduct further checks thinking all is well as long as it is switching on unlike the previous one they had showed me. This is ************ behavior that should not go unchecked. My money has just been taken and I have nothing to show for the purchase in my possession.

I will get an attornery to send a letter of demand to Makro invoking Consumer Protection Act if this issue is not resolved ASAP.
