Makro Wonderboom leaves customer in the lurch again, causing costs

I live 3 kms from Makro Wonderboom, yet did not expect same-day delivery of my in-stock garden shed. However I did expect, and was promised, delivery within 2 days, having paid R400 for delivery. I therefore took 1 day leave today at great cost to be here to assemble it. However, 48 hours after purchase there is no delivery and no answer on the number I was given. I have also not heard anything from dipatch despite giving them my number. This is the second time I wait for Makro like this and I am fed-up: Why does basic services paid for always have to be such a struggle? Why is the need to complain a norm instead of an exception? Now I will have to pay for assembly because I cannot take another day's leave. I need the shed now for delivery of goods from the estate of my late mother, so now the estate is a mess too. Too much talking, now I expect notification from Makro in writing and I expect Makro to pay for assembly. Do not phone me, write to janmconradie at gmail dot com.
