MAKRO WONDERBOOM BIG ON HUMILIATING THE VULNERABLE

I went to the Makro Wonderboom outlet yesterday and stood in line (pensioner's queue) with my handicapped mother. The security lady indicated that I was not to stand there and I acknowledged that but explained that I was there to assist my mother with her shopping as she cannot do shopping by herself and she understood and said I could continue to stand there.

When it was time for people to be let into the store at about 14:35 a random male employee blockaded my way and said I was not allowed to enter when I explained why I was entering he went on to murmur the words "next time don't bring her to the ****** store" we then proceeded to enter the store afterwards. After shopping for a while I then approached a manger named Markus who was very apologetic.

However I would like it to be clearly stated in your disclaimer if people like my mother are not welcomed in your stores so as to spare her the insults, humiliation and insensitivity next time from your employees.
