Makro will not give credit or exchange a faulty Kreepy Krauly Dominator

The Kreepy Krauly Dominator is the most useless pool cleaner ever made. It does not perform it's intended purpose at all. As this cleaner is really not up to the task of cleaning a pool, I wanted to exchange the pool cleaner at Makro Strubens Valley for a normal, entry level Kreepy Krauly that will be able to clean a pool, as it should. The staff at Makro was unwilling to assist and maintained that someone from Kreepy Krauly must first come out to my house to asses the unit. This is nonsense as I did not purchase the unit from Kreepy Krauly, but I purchased it from Makro. The sales manager also confirmed that their very own "Pease of Mind Policy" does not apply to pool cleaners, even though it is not stated anywhere in the policy. The policy does state that defective good will be repaired, replace or refunded within 6 months of purchase. This is not a defective or broken unit, it is a badly designed product and therefor I do not require the unit to be repaired, or replaced. I require a credit note in order for me to buy a normal Kreepy Krauly.
