Makro using bogus delivery companies

I placed an order on Makro Online for Vitapro Collagen and a Kenwood 3-in-1 Waffle Maker. A few days later the payment for Vitapro Collagen was returned as the product was sold out. It wasn’t sold out when I cleared the cart. Date of Deliver for the Waffle maker according to Makro Online was 03 February 2026

On 02 Feb at 20:40, I received WhatsApp call from+***2, the gentleman told me he had my delivery but would deliver it the following day (03 Feb) as he had run out of time, he mentioned that he would update the system. He I asked that I share my location with him which I did at 07:12 on the 3rd

However on the morning of the On 03 Feb at 03:31 an sms was delivered on my phone that my parcel had been delivered, I queried this with the driver via WhatsApp at 07:13 and he said he had to update the system on his side, this via a voice note at 07:14 and a phone call at 07:28 to share that he as leaving Boksburg and was on his way to me.

On 08:21 he arrived at my gate, and the security guards would not let him in because he did not have an access code, this came as a surprise to me because delivery vehicles are allowed to enter the Estate without the access code. Nonetheless I generated the code and sent it to him at 08:22, access was granted at 08:23:42. He wad driving a non-branded Opel Corsa, was with a friend and told me he was not working the previous day. When I querried about the condition of the parcel his response was ‘the supplier gave it to me like that’. Please see pics and video I took of the parcel. I said I would query it with Makro.

I opened the box and what was inside was not Kenwood, I closed the box and immediately took pictures and a video, please see time stamp on my photos and video, it was 08:28.I immediately logged a return and also sent a message on the Makro WhatsApp at 13:42 and again the following day at 09:22

Today, 06 February, I check the Makro online portal and I see that the return has been rejected, no reason is stated and there has not been communication on the WhatsApp platform
