Makro using Bling installations - **********!
Makro and Bling installers, what a pot of crock! I purchased a gas stove from Makro, and got a hole in my head talked into by die sales guy at Alberton Makro to purchase an installation voucher which includes a COC for the Gas certification. After being messed around by Bling installers for 4 days!!!!!!, i finally received a call from the "installer", a ****y english youngster- for almost R3000 additional work to be done over and above the voucher value. The stove cost R2600, and the cage to house the gas bottle another R1000 (which i already purchased).
I refused this quote as i feel this is just ludicrous and outrageously expensive. We would then still need to move the isolator switch on the stove as well as modify the granite tops ourselves..
the mere attitude of the installer was enough to drive me up the wall.
I returned the stove to Makro, who refused to refund the voucher- as the installers had come out to quote us already. Now i've paid a R900 callout fee for absolutely nothing, and Makro refuse to do anything. They just refer me back to Bling installers and say i need to pay them an additional R650 callout fee, and then they will refund my voucher.
Makro has seen the last of my business as a result of this.
This bling installers has been responsible for a lot of ********** installations, as i mentioned this to friends i've heard many similar stories about them. I will ensure that social media is made aware of this terrible service and referral from Makro...!
