Makro - Used Dishwasher Delivered

I ordered a dishwasher from Makro online. It was delivered in two days which was great. BUT; Wumdrop picked it up the next day and claimed they could not reach me and so it was a "failed delivery". Even though nobody attempted to contact me. The following day I received my dishwasher in packaging. Opening it up i find that it was USED before it was delivered to me. Water residue inside, water still in the system and pipes. They haven't gotten back to me yet. I don't want to use it until I have some clarity. Do they test units?
