Makro - *************

Today I went to Makro New Market to buy a fridge, washing machine and surge protectors. All the employees in the department were super keen to help me decide on what I wanted and wanted to sell me the most expensive fridge, saying that they can give me a special offer. Once I had made my selection, I went to get a Makro card and the warranties sorted. I was told by the salesman (Oscar) that same day delivery can be arranged which impressed me. When I went to pay my card declined several times so I called my banker who informed me that it was an error on Makro’s side. Makro refused to believe me or help me in any way. I went to Burgerking in the same parking area after and my card worked first time, with no issues so I know it was an error on Makro’s side (it was super embarrassing I might add). To add to my disgust (through trying to sort my card out and pay) a supervisor informed me that Makro does not actually offer same day delivery … and would not be held responsible for anything that happened to the goods if I did same day delivery through Oscar’s connection because it was not Makro’s transporter. I am absolutely horrified by the events of this morning. What a waste of time…I will never be able to trust Makro again!!!!!
