Makro ********* Warranty Practices

I bought a laptop from Makro, Centurion for R6 500. After 4 months the laptop refused to start. I took it in as it was still under warranty. They told me the technicians will take 4 weeks to get back to me.

4 Weeks later I called them to inquire, to which they simply responded "It's not ready yet". I called every week and got the same answer. 12 WEEKS LATER their technicians reported the motherboard has broken. They quoted me R12 000 to fix it. R12 000 to fix a R6 500 laptop....WHICH IS STILL FULLY UNDER WARRANTY!!!

I went to Makro to inquire about this, but when I got there they said that Motherboards are not included in the warranty of laptops. How can that be?!?! The motherboard is the entire laptop!! There is no objective argument to be made that it isn't covered by warranty.

They sold me a faulty motherboard and refuse to fix it while it's still fully under warranty. This is very ********* business practices. I can't believe they get away with this. It's false advertising and *****!!
