Makro the *******

I bought an item on [URL Removed] for collection at the Germiston branch. The first problem is that NO OTHER branches had stock of the item, which is absolute nonsense. For all of Makro's claims, they are useless.<br> <br> On the day of collection, I decided I didn't want the item any more. So when I collected it, I returned it immediately. The salesman said the money would be refunded to the account I used to pay. When I asked for a slip, she said there is no slip.<br> <br> I waited a shole week, and did not receive my refund. I then called Makro to find out what was going on. The lady said she saw the refund on their system, but there was a \problem\", and it needed to be escalated to the IT dept. She said she would call me back.<br> <br> She never did. So I called them again, got another consultant, explained the situation. Same response - we'll escalate and call you back.<br> <br> To date, I have NOT been called, and my money has not been refunded! I am disgusted that Makro 1) doesn't inform me that there was a problem with the refund in the first place 2) doesn't honour promises to call back 3) has effectively ****** my money, since I have no WAY of getting it back now!"
