Makro Strubensvalley gave my gas hob to someone else

On 26 November (Friday) I bought two items (stove and gas hob) online for collection. By Sunday afternoon I got a confirmation that the items are ready to be collected. On Monday 4 December I went to collect the items that took about an hour for them to run around but they eventually came. Then one of the items was removed and I was told that my item that I paid for was given to someone else. They did not get me another one (saying that they must first investigate the matter), but I was promised that it will be delivered to me the next day. No surprise, this didn't happen either.

I have emailed, phoned and Whatsapped. It is impossible to get hold of anyone. Looking at all the other reviews on hellopeter a lot of people are struggling just like I am with a complete lack of service from Makro online. This service is a joke. If you really want to support them, walk into the store and buy the item.
