Makro Store Springfield ****med me.
I was ****med by Makro Springfield Ugeni business park in Durban. I bought a Defy refrigerator for R4999 in cash, I was told a day before that they have it on stock then the following day I went to make a purchase in store. I was promised a delivery in two days but they did not make a delever. Day 3 on a Monday I phoned the store and I was told that the driver damaged the fridge on his way and that he had to return it back to store and that they will replace it. I asked for a delivery for the replacement and I was told that they sold me a fridge that they do not have on stock. I then requested for my money back but I was told to come to store for refund which is about 30 minutes drive and I went to the store on my arrival they told me that the fridge is out of stock while we are still at that I was told that there is one available which was shown to me wrapped into a Defy printed plastic wrap. They promise to deliver it right away which they did not, I was in store between 11 and 12 in the morning and the refrigerator was delivered to my place at around 19 hours at night. I signed the delivery not for the driver and he left. I couldn't unbox the fridge as it needed to settle until the following morning when I unwrapped the refrigerator then I realized it was indeed the dented/physically damaged. I informed the store right away and they bul**** me into admitting that I saw the fridge in it's wrap in store and I couldn't spot the dent. I requested my money back but I was told that I could not get it back until their driver collected the fridge from my place, I have been waiting for the driver for two days now and have not yet collected and I have not received my money back
