MAKRO SOLD US A DEFECTIVE FRIDGE FOR R16000

Makro Pietermaritzburg sold us a defective fridge. The fridge was bought cash by my mom on Monday for R16000 and fetched on Tuesday. We didn't require a delivery we fetched it ourselves. Upon arrival at home we discovered that the fridge had a huge dent at the back, both left and right top corners are bent and at the bottom when the gas is placed its also a bit sketchy. Mom reported it right away to Grant I'm not what's his position in that hell hole of a store and he sent an assesor from Defy to come and inspect the fridge the next day. The assessor came and took the same pictures we sent the day before and said he was going to send a report to Makro with his findings. Makro just got back to my mother saying they won't be replacing the fridge it's meaning we just lost R16000 and we are without a fridge. Tell me how is this fair???
