Makro sells poor quality appliances

Don't ever buy appliances from any makro store. I bought a stove for my mother online at Makro. Within one month, the was an issue with the oven and it stopped working. This is less than a month i had purchased this new Defy stove. The appliances at Makro come with a warranty while at some stores they come with a guarantee - I should have noted this as red flag. Needless to say my mom called the warranty people and they came more than five days later. Basically she has a new stove but could not use the oven for more than 5 days. As frustrated as I am I requested a refund because clearly the defy stove sold to us was of poor quality and its definitely not worth he price I paid for it.. This was over a week ago. Since then I have been going back and forth with them. To a point where the matter has been escalated. I have not heard anything from them since then. I am quite appalled by this and I am never buying any appliances at Makro ever again.
