MAKRO sells COUNTERFEIT products
I recently ordered a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones from Makro's online store. The product delivered was clearly a counterfeit item, and a poor one at that.
This is completely unacceptable for a company as large and trusted as Makro, especially considering it clearly states in bold on the Makro website that they offer "100% Original Products With Assured Brand Warranty".
I'm shocked that the product I received is a counterfeit, and immediately logged a return. Makro will no longer be getting any business from me and I will caution anybody to order from Makro's online store going forward.

The Headphones I ordered was intended to be a gift, which I could never possibly give as a counterfeit item.
Upon shopping around and finding such an incredible deal on your site I obviously chose to buy from Makro. Now however I will have to return them and I do not have the product I ordered for the price I payed.
The South African Consumer Protection Act is very clear about my rights as a consumer and I expect to receive the product I ordered at the listed price I payed. An apology and a lazy refund will not suffice.
If I do not receive an authentic pair of the Headphones I ordered I will be escalating this further.
Please rectify this accordingly.
