Makro selling products without having stock to deliver

have place an order online for collection form the Alberton Branch for a RYOBI 7 kVA Petrol Key Start Generator on the 11the of April 2019 At the date of order the online system confirmed available stock in several stores and advised that there was stock in Alberton As well. Once the order was confirmed and payment made I received the confirmation email that advised that this item will only be available for collection on the 24th Of April 2019 I phoned Makro customer service first thing in the morning, 12 April 2019, and asked if there is any other stock available at a different location for immediate collection. The lady advised me that there is several available at Crown mine, Wonderboom and Woodmead. I informed her that Crown mines will be best suited for me and she confirmed that I can pick up from that location. I Went to Crown Mines store at around 12h00 on Friday the 12th of April 2019 only to be informed that there is currently actually no stock at any Makro in the country for Generators. In fact the guy assisting me actually laughed at the fact that I was informed there is stock from Customer service or the online ordering system. Makro as greatly disappointed here and I feel completely mislead by placing a R11 000 order that I will only receive in more than a week’s time. Somehow you are advertising stock and taking money from your costumers when you actually know there is now stock available. I would like to be advised when this will be dealt with and how Makro will resolve this issue.
