Makro selling defects to online clients
I am so aggrieved by Makro right now I have been ****med R5500 by Makro and I am beyond livid.I had no idea that Makro sells reject items to their online clients and there I am stuck with a dented brand new dishwasher which I was excited to order and I paid good money for it to get nonsensical service.I got a call on Saturday from Makro and I forgot the name of the girl who called me who specifically told me that they can't replace this dish washer so I told her to come get it,fix the dent and give it back and her tune changed to yes we can replace it but you will have to pay R500 handling fee.... For what I don't know!!!! And this is where we are being ****med as clients.... I told her I will pay it but I will complain because the dent that this machine has is more of a factory fault because there are no scratches and it actually looks like the machine is like that till you check the other side which is nice and straight, Saturday she told me that she will check for stock and call me back same day,today it's Tuesday and nothing,I called Makro Alberton and their receptionist put me on hold for 12 minutes and disconnected my call thereafter,I phoned her back and she gave me a nonsensical explanation and put me on hold again which means calling them has costed me a fortune to try get this matter resolved.When I paid online my money went off immediately but the service my goodness is beyond pathetic!!!! The response and turn around time is beyond bad! I have been a client with Makro for more than 10years and goodness this service I received!!!!,does Defy even know you are tarnishing their brand like this by selling clients defects???! I want my replacement tomorrow,I will not stand for this nonsense!!! To make your life easy I even said you can replace with any colour as long as it has no dents and works perfectly.. I am stuck with a dented machine that possibly has a million problems because of this huge dent that I don't even know how it was formed! I will never buy from Makro again and I suggest people must stay away from this type of ******* aswell, I paid for this machine...it was not free and I expect quality not *******!
