MAKRO SAMSUNG DEALERS NOT ETHICAL

It would appear Makro is working with a network of Samsung dealers who are not ethical and upright. From my reading of the situation, Makro might be *********ly be cheating on Insurance Companies, its buyers other service providers. In January 2025, I visited Makro Germiston to buy a Fold-6 Samsung phone. Makro informed me that the purchases are only done only. I purchased online and it was delivered. The screen flicks, the SIM 2 does not read. I reached out to SAMSUNG South Africa for help and was told to take the phone to the nearest dealer. Upon going there I am told the job requires close to R20 000.00.

Surely want is the essence of the SAMSUNG warranty. I have heard a few of my colleagues who were duped the same way. It is unfortunate that I only heard it after buying the phone. It should be time for such ********, ********* activities should be stopped in view of the shift to online purchases. Customers should feel safe to buy online thank being duped by trusted service providers.
