Makro_SA SELL BROKEN ELECTRONICS WITH A STRAIGHT FACE

So on the 24th of June 2016, i took what was my last money and bought a Washing machine from Makro in Woodmead, Sandton. There machine was apparently marked down from R4900 by dropping a R1000 from the original price due it being a display machine or Demo machine.

I then decided to buy it but before i bought it i approached the Sales Consultants which none of them took me seriously when i was asking questions but i did my best to not get upset! Eventually they asked some Junior Sales Guy to assist me and he came and i asked him what is wrong with this machine ? why is it marked down ? did someone else return it ? There Young Man said there is nothing wrong with this machine Mama, we were using it for Display thats it beside that it just had a few scratches thats it. Then i said oh ok please rap it for me as i would like to purchase it. He went to get it rapped and i paid for it. When i got home i got it hooked up, took out the *****s at the back that hold the tub, then i noticed there are no manuals or anything else besides the one pipe. I plugged it and started using it, i went to the other rooms next thing i hear my fiance screeming water is all of the floor this machine is leaking, we check and we can't exact figure out where the water is coming from we call the Plumber because we thought the leak must be from the pipe he comes running through and we find there is nothing wrong with the pipes. Its the machine itself that is leaking. I have tweeted, called but it seems they wont replace this machine that i have barely had for 3 weeks. So i paid for something that doesnt work when i thought the only thing that was an issue with this machne was the scratches the sales man mentioned !!

I havent heard anything official from them regarding this issue, I have spent about R1200 since i have had this machine. Between the Laundry Mat and the Plumber because i thought there was something wrong with my house since its a new house. The guy from DEFY came through to check the machine he said the store must take back the machine and replace it because this isnt right and this machine is beyond repair !!! and isnt even worth reparing because it will cost a lot of money and time because he has to order the parts etc.
