Makro Riversands Display price

I found a fridge displayed at R6999 at Makro Riversands last week Thursday. When I approached the store salesman, I was told the store had made a mistake and that the fridge is going for R15000. I argued my case with the store manager since the price I saw is the price I should pay, however the manager (together with Makro head office) refused to sell the item to me at the displayed price, and simply said "they cannot honour the displayed amount".
