Makro refusing to refund me for a faulty Karcher pressure washer

I am extremely disappointed with the manner in which Makro has handled my complaint regarding a Karcher K3 High-Pressure Cleaner purchased at Makro Gonubie in June 2026. The product was purchased for a Makro online customer (Makro Sellers). Approximately one month after delivery, the customer returned the machine because it was faulty and would not switch on. Makro refunded the customer, even though the return was outside the 14-day return period, and the faulty machine was returned to me. I then took the machine to Makro Gonubie, where the consultant assisting me tested it and confirmed that it was not switching on. I was told that the machine had to be sent to the manufacturer for assessment before my refund could be processed. I was instructed to wait 21 working days, which I did. After waiting the full 21 working days, I was informed that the manufacturer had allegedly found the machine to be in perfect working condition. This is extremely frustrating because the machine was physically tested at Makro Gonubie and was confirmed not to be switching on. I have also explained repeatedly that I require a refund because this was a customer order. I have already incurred the commission and delivery costs associated with the transaction, yet Makro is refusing to refund me. I have comp**** with every instruction given to me by Makro and have waited the required period. I now expect Makro to take responsibility for resolving this matter rather than simply referring me back to the manufacturer. I am requesting that Makro process my refund without further delay. I have the invoice and documentation relating to the transaction and can provide these if required.
