Makro refuses to return funds for failed service
We were ****med at Makro. Makro took money from us for an installation of a gas stove. When the installation company - blingstallation came to our house to install they claimed we need to change the whole setup which would cost thousands of rands. MAKRO now refuses to return our money for a failed installation claiming that the install company requires a call out fee that is 2/3 of the price. MAKRO and Blingstallation are ******* and robbing innocent people with a scheme of wanting to assist whilst you purchase your appliances. Do not fall for this

17 Nov 2025, 15:35The money was paid to Makro, they contacte the installer, who wants to charge R950 for callout from a fee of R1200. We had to have this done by someone else as it was a stove we needed to cook.
