Makro/ RCS declined purchases and failed "get cash" transaction

I pay my Makro credit card every month, and usually buy my toiletries at Clicks with this card if I run low on cash. On October 28th I tried to use the card at Clicks. The transaction kept being declined. It was so embarrassing standing there and having people look at me like I don't have the funds to pay.

The cashier told me that she would keep the goods for me, and that I could give RCS a call to find out what's happening. I received a call from an RCS agent in their ***** department 5 minutes after I'd left Clicks. She told me that the transaction failed due to it being a high value purchase, and therefor needed manual authorization. This was totally weird to me, because the purchase was for R1000, and I've made purchases - with this card - for higher values without needing manual authorization. She asked me if I would like her to authorize the purchase so I could buy the goods on that day. I affirmed this action. Then she calls me back and tells me that she's unable to request manual authorization because my card is expired. Expired? The card doesn't even have an expiry date on it. How is it expired? She then tells me that I won't be able to use the card until I collect a replacement card from any Makro store.

Now let's fast-forward to 5 days ago. Makro sent me an email which stated that the "get cash" feature is available. I tried to transfer some cash to my debit card as I still have not been able to purchase all my toiletries. The transaction showed as successful on my self-service banking; however, the funds never materialized. I then checked my available funds via self-service banking yesterday, and found that the funds had returned to my Makro credit card. No notification or error message at all... Super inconvenient, right? I then thought that perhaps I entered my details incorrectly, so I attempted the transfer again. Once again, the transaction showed as successful according self-service banking, as well as my Makro app...so I waited... And I waited.

This brings me to this morning, I decided to check if the transaction still reflects on the Makro app, only to find that the app wouldn't accept my pin. I tried signing into self-service banking online, and it wouldn't accept my password. I then reset the password and the pin. I signed into the app and guess what.... THE TRANSACTION NO LONGER REFLECTS!!!! AND STILL NO NOTIFICATION SENT TO ME!!!! I then tried to see if the transaction would go through if I sent the funds to a different account (just for ****s and giggles), and now the app says there's an error. I try to sign in online with the new password, but it says the password is wrong.

I'm so over this. At this point I just wanna pay the outstanding balance and be done with this ****. I'm so over struggling in a world that preaches convenience of technology for consumers.
