MAKRO PREMIUM PILLOW TOP BED

I bought a bed online on 6 August 2024. The order was supposed to take 7-10 business days to be delivered. On the 9th business day(19Aug) the order was cancelled by them due to supplier issues. I was advised that I’d receive my money back within 3-5 working days. On the 5th day(26 August) I called and was informed that the payment was not processed and that the matter will be escalated to finance and that they take 24-48 hours to process. I called back again on the 29th to find out if payment was processed. I was told that, the person I first spoke to on the phone should have told me that apart from the 48hours I have to wait for finance, I still need to wait an additional 7-14 days after that. That the supplier has not cancelled the order on their end and I have to wait for that. It’s the 30th of August now and I have not received my money. I did not make a purchase from Makro website but I’m being told I have to wait for a supplier that I didn’t give my money to when I gave my money to Makro.
