Makro P.O.P.I. Act BREACHED
P.O.P.I.A. BREACHED I would like to express my extreme disappointment in you for sharing my private information with a 3rd party without my consent. These people phoned me and I was under the impression that it was from Makro or Makro accredited division. They had all my personal information including my ID number and my home address. I have a long and trusted relationship with Makro and was under the impression that I can trust Makro They then took R3500 from my Makro account without my consent, from information that I did not give them, and they received from you. This breach has not only compromised my trust but also caused financial and emotional distress. I urge you to investigate this matter urgently and provide clarity on how my information was accessed and shared. I also request immediate steps be taken to prevent such incidents in the future and the amount the was debited to be credit back into my Makro account.
I did contact *** before I have written this review. They said it is not them. That is part of my frustration. They have sent me from one person to another until the circle is complete and then I start all over again. That is why I have turned to social media. So, I guess it's not Makro that sold my information but RCS. The part that I cannot understand is If I use my Card at Makro I need to provide my ID and not only my ID number, but I also need to have my ID in my hand to proof that it's me and a signature. I did not give this information to anyone. How can a 3rd party be allowed to just take money. I would like to escalate this.
