MAKRO - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ASSISTING PREGNANT PERSON
So, a couple weeks ago, my wife and I had went to Makro Springfield in Durban.
We firstly had to wait 15 minutes, just for the manager to come and swipe his card to authorise the transaction.
My wife is pregnant and felt dizzy and nausea's while at Makro. At a point she had fainted and vomited. The staff including the manager at Makro couldnt be bothered and carried on with their usual business. After asking multiple times, they eventually brought a chair. They said they could'nt give us tissue/wipes because they did'nt have any after even asking them to get from elsewhere.
I'm a regular shopper at Makro, but after an experience like this with Makro staff, i don't think I'd ever return.
I would expect a large chain store like this to have procedures in place for situations like this, but i guess Makro is one behind on its staff training.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Kindly note that we just tried calling you to extend our sincerest apologies for the customer service you received from our Springfield branch. We will contact our store to assist in this regard and advise further. As soon as feedback is received, we will contact you.
We hope you have a lovely day further.

Thank you for the call.
It's comforting to know that Makro accepts its employees are oblivious to situations like this.
