Makro overpriced pool chemicals
I've generally had great service from Makro but be aware that Makro's prices for pool chemicals are out of line with their competitors. I paid R119 for a 3kg HTH Alkalinity Up and R198 for HTH Green to Blue at Makro Springfield and found the same products at Checkers and Pick 'n Pay for R89 and R169 respectively (and they weren't "on special").

08 Apr 2019, 12:00Makro have rep**** to me telephonically to say that their suppliers (HTH) have increased prices and that the reason for the lower prices at other outlets is probably because they are selling older stock.
