Makro Ottery Cape Town Paint problem

On the 18th of April 2021 I bought 4 20lts of Dulux Paint. Two of the paints were mixed with the colour that we chose, then the other one was a primer the other one a normal Dulux PVA white paint. However when we chose the colour the guy that helped us did not test the colour for us to see whether it is the colour that we want. Now when the painter paints the house the colour is not the colour that we wanted. We went back to the store to return the paint and we were sent back and forth that the guy that assisted us is not there and that we should come back when he is back... We then came back to the store and the guy was not there and we were told that they cant return the paint nor refund us.

The problem here is that we do not want the paint cause the colour is a totally different colour as opposed to the colour that we want. Had the guy shown us a tester showing the colour we have chosen it would have been a different story! Out of anger we left the paint with them cause we want a refund and we unfortunately are deprived our rights as consumers. And all of this is done with an attitude of that "You can do whatever you like we as Dulux sales assistant and Makro Management will not return the paint because it is mixed!" Where asthe paint was mixed by them...
