Makro Onl;ne Sucks

I placed an order online with Marko for a Christmas gift for my daughter. It was a portable swimming pool. I gave her the gift on Christmas day and 2 days later she confirmed that her complex would not allow her to setup the pool on her property. The item was never opened and so I contact Makro to ask to return the item and was happy to accept a gift voucher in exchange. I was told that items bought online from Makro have a 14 day return policy and they would check with the supplier if they would accept it back. After many emails toi find out what is happeneing I have been told they cannot accept a return. This process indicates that Makro are increasing their already excessive profits by not holding stock of many items and using the supplier as their holding warehouse. The fact that they purchase the item from the supplier only when I purchase it from them should ensure a better price on the item, but I have subsequently seen the same item in 3 retail stores at the same price.
