Makro Online Webstore

I've placed an order on the Makro website on the 11th of September 2023. The order indicated that it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. After waiting 3 weeks and not seeing ANY movement on the order, I called the call center number to investigate. They said all they can do is escalate to the supplier. I googled the supplier name, and to me it looks like the suppler went out of business as their website now re-routes to an international site. I phoned again to cancel the order, this time she told me all she can do is escalate to another department to process the cancellation. Again nothing was done. it is now almost a month later. I keep emailing and phoning daily with no success. I feel the site is platform for anyone to load products on, whether you exist or is able to deliver on that promise or not. This is extremely misleading from Makro as they take your money and "cant do anything" if the product is not delivered. I would stay so far away from the Makro website!
