Makro - Online, Unreliable delivery service
I ordered an item online on 9 Oct 2019. The estimated delivery time was stated as 2-5 days from the date of purchase. Today is 21 Oct 2019 and still no delivery.
Taking into account that the delivery option is not a free one. (A mere R30) but still, why charge for delivery when you cannot ... well, deliver.
Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience with Makro online but its a mistake I'm not willing to make again.
Check this site for lots and lots of similar (and far worse) complaints.
I would advise anyone reading this review to steer clear of Makro Online if you need your item delivered within a reasonable time. There are other vendors that get it right.

I have received my order and everything seems to be OK.
I wish I could recommend Makro Online but based on my experience so far I cant. However, I sincerely hope that the service problems will be addressed because it has the potential to be a legitimate alternative and competition to other major online retailers. Competition is always good.
