Makro Online Store - Selling faulty items and not upholding their own policies

2 Weeks ago I bought a ASUS MB16AMT. It was delivered to me on FRIDAY 24th March 2023. The day I received it, it took me a few minutes to discover it was faulty. I then contacted ASUS(The Manufacturer) who told me its warranty had ended 6 months before I bought it.(Oct 2022) While talking to ASUS USA, local one was closed. I discovered that the speakers were not working either. Tried two different cables, 2 Macs a laptop and Macbook as well as a windows11 machine. Did not work. I immediatly sent an email to Makro as it was out of opening hours. Packed the unit up as it had multiple faults. At 8am the very next day (Saturday15th March 2023) I reported it to Makro by phone, and was told they would get back to me within 48 hours) This did not happen. Monday I tried again, same response. Wednesday again and finally I got a generic email. I have then tried multiple times again and keep getting the same reply's and generic emails word for word copy and paste. It is now a week and a half later and I still have the faulty unit and am being told they cannot refund it, even though it is clearly stated on their website that there is a 14 Day refund policy. I reported it a few hours after receiving it. The website also says "Easy Returns" and yet I have got nowhere with a refund or even them trying to replace it.
