Makro online ‘shocking’

I placed an online order on 30/03/2020, making full payment through their process. Noting I only ordered 3 items

On 01/04/2020 I was notified of one item being cancelled from the order. A few days later my ‘delivery’ arrived. However the 25kg Bobtail dog food did not arrive and the remaining item was delivered incorrectly. Instead of receiving flour, we received 12 tins of husky dog food - not even on the original order? When notifying Makro, on several occasions, I was just told the issue would be escalated. On 09/04/2020 I received a call from the delivering branch acknowledging an exchange would happen. Since then I have called Makro twice to follow up with no success other than the default response of the issue being escalated. And, in the last conversation today, due to my patience naturally finally waking thin, my call was cut off. I will neither personally purchase from Makro nor ever recommend that anyone else makes use of them. Understandably, the SA lockdown would affect normal processes but this pathetic customer service and incompetence cannot be justified through lockdown strain. I have given ample time for proactive response from them, and now resort to such negative reviews on all platforms.
