Makro Online order (fully paid) for a Lifespace_sa product meant to be delivered by "The Courier Guy" is not delivered. No one taking responsibility

Made an Order on 3 June 2024 for a LifeSpace Versatile Wall-mount Rack with Hooks, Paid R769.00 for the Product. Order confirmed on 3 June. Received a delivery pin on 5 June, the courier (Courier Guy) delivers a "thank you for the purchase" card with a small box containing table coasters. I asked him what this is because this is not what I order and he says that is all he was tasked to deliver.

A few hour later I received an sms confirming delivery of my order. I immediately contact the Makro Online SA WhatsApp line to let them know that my order was not delivered but I received an sms confirming delivery. Teboho from Makro responds and says "Please note that the system generates the sms and sends it before the driver gets to you. Kindly allow it sometime until the end of business today. If the driver does not come through today, contact us so that we can escalate the case." I do that.

The next day, 6 June I contact the WhatsApp line again to say I still do not have my delivery. Tebogo assists and says that he/ she has escalated the case. I hear nothing for the rest of the week.

I call the ***number on Monday 10 June and speak to Thando, she escalates the issue and I get a ***. She says I must give it a week to get feedback. I hear nothing from Makro.

I called the contact centre again on 14 June and spoke to Boniswa and she confirm that the courier says they have delivered my order, the matter is escalated further with more information. She also tells me this information was available on 11 June but no one bothered to contact me with the updates. I only find out information when I call into the call centre.

Today is 14 June and I still do not have the order I placed on 3 June and neither "Makro" or "The courier guy" care that I still do not have my order. www.lifespacesa.com, your intervention in this will be appreciated because this was your product I ordered from Makro Online.

Very disappointed with this whole process
