Makro Online is pathetic

I ordered goods online on the 2nd of March 2025. Received confirmation on the 3rd that the order was packed. The online system shows delivery for today, but the order has not been collected by the courier. I have called numerous times including the Makro Headoffice with no assistance what so ever. This is really ridiculous. What is the point of the online call centre if they can only tell me what I can see myself. Going back on posts I see there are numerous issues with Makro Online. If it can even be called that....if you are ordering via 3rd party then apparently they don't care.

This sounds like a generic reply. I received my goods yesterday....again this shows you guys have no clue what is happening with online orders. The one item is of poor quality and not even the colour advertised. Not even assembled as advertised on your website. There was no instruction manual and would probably take a genius to install it. Don't use your platform if you are not going to take responsibility for orders. It is poor taste and reflects badly on Makro at the end of the day irrespective if you have disclaimers in your fine print. You can't just wash your hands of any accountability.
