Makro online is a ****

DO NOT BUY FROM MAKRO ONLINE

I purchased a 5 Bar Electric Heater on the on the 5th on June, the expected delivery was 11 of June, by the 11th my heater was not even dispatched and when I called Makro a few days later no one could explain where my heater is and why it has not been delivered. I then cancelled my order on the 14th of June, during the process of cancellation a consultant told me the reason why my heater has not been delivered is because the heater is not even sold by Makro but from some supplier and that's why it is taking so long.

Firstly, the lack of transparency is ********* cause other online market places like takealot make it known that an items is being supp**** by a certain supplier. Secondly, why would you sell something you do not have stock of but promise a 3 to 5 working days delivery time.

It is now the 17th of July and Makro has still not refunded me my money. I've called their contact number multiple times (more than 10) and no one can explain why I have not been refunded. I cannot get a hold of a manager nor will they put me through to the finance department, i get told the same story over and over again that my issue will be escalated but they never call you back or send an email explaining what's going on. The worst part is that you cannot claim your refund from a Makro store. Meaning this people will just ***** your money and theirs nothing you can do but call their stupid call center.

I will NEVER buy from makro and I highly do not recommend purchasing from them. this is by far the worst customer experience I've had. During the period of waiting for my refund from Makro I order a similar heater from Builders Warehouse and they delivered in 3 days something Makro failed to do.
