Makro Online has no idea what is expected from online sales

Makro online absolutely does not work. First, it is near impossible from a listed ad product to know ‘what’s in the box’. Was interested in a cordless angle grinder, but quite uncertain whether it included battery (Ah?) and charger or just the bare tool - ad did not say. Impossible to get Silver Lakes branch on the line - they had stock. Tried their web based chat, but it kicks you off when you’re second in line - numerous tries! Then resorted to WhatsApp chat. The guy could tell me nothing, as he only sees what I see about the product! So my son in CT actually WENT to a store and found it includes a 4Ah bat + charger, after which I bought one online for free delivery. That was Tue, 14 Dec. Wed, 15 Dec the online platform showed the product was packed for shipment, but delivery would only be Sat, 18 Dec. Fri, 17 Dec I received an sms from delivery partner that delivery would be (presumably) the next day and that I will get an sms. (No waybill no to track). Sat came and went, no word and no delivery. Mon, 19 Dec I again checked on online platform, which still showed parcel was packed - NOT with delivery partner. So I again went on WhatsApp chat, promised by Elzane she will get back to me, which never happened. Wednesday, 22 Dec, more than 24 h after Elzane’s promise, I again try the WhatsApp chat, this time assisted by Bongani who, after absolute silence of 13 min, told me it will be delivered today and gave a waybill no this time, blaming ‘high volumes’ for the delay, which is an outright lie, given it was packed to be shipped more than a week ago. Going on the Wumdrop (delivery partner) tracker now, it shows delivery was unsuccessfully attempted yesterday and it went back to origin.(That too, is false as the parcel remained at the Wonderboom branch since the Tue before!) So nine days after purchase with immediate payment, I’m still none the wiser if it will ever be delivered and I had to borrow a tool in the mean time to do what I needed done.
