Makro Online Dishwasher dispute

I bought a Dishwasher on Makro online. I was delivered on the 30th of August 2023. I logged a returns request because it was cracked. No one bothered to come collect it despite updating on their system that someone has been assigned to come and collect it. I eventually used my own transport to return it to Strubens' valley on the 20th of July 2024. I was told I would get my refund after 3 to 5 working days. Its 30 August 2024 today and I havent received my money back. I phoned to follow up and and I was asked for photos to show that I sent it back to Strubens valley. I found this very upsetting because I have a credit note. They can always do an audit trail using the credit note. The call center could not even give me an indication of when I will get my money back. I was even told to consider going to Strubens valley again at my expense again. I have incurred travelling costs trying to get my refund for a year now and the inconvenience of not having a dishwasher and lost economic benefit on my money that Makro has.
